President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Federal Capital Territory Civil Service, Grace Adayilo, who died on September 1, 2025.

The announcement was made on Saturday by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike during her funeral service held at the National Christian Centre in Abuja. Wike explained that the gesture was aimed at supporting the family after the loss of their mother, who served as the breadwinner.

He described Adayilo, popularly called “Mama Africa,” as a loyal, humble, and hardworking public servant whose dedication stood out in the civil service. According to him, she carried out her duties with speed, ensured prompt payment of salaries and entitlements, and earned a reputation as both an efficient administrator and a caring leader.
