He made the remark while discussing the political landscape ahead of the next general election.
Speaking during an interview on Symfoni TV, Bwala said Obi’s growing popularity remains a factor that cannot be ignored.
However, he also suggested that the former Anambra State governor could face difficulties if current political alignments remain unchanged.
The former spokesperson for Atiku’s 2023 campaign pointed to shifting opposition dynamics, noting that Obi currently lacks the backing of serving governors.
He argued that political support structures could play a major role in determining the outcome of the election.
Bwala also reflected on Atiku’s electoral history, particularly in the North-West region, while assessing the prospects of key opposition figures.
His comments come as political parties continue preparations and realignments ahead of the 2027 presidential race.
