The governor explained that the decision formed part of minor adjustments to the State Executive Council. He thanked Baban-Takko for her contributions and wished her well in her future engagements.
The shake-up comes on the heels of recent disciplinary actions within the state’s civil service. Last week, the Bauchi Civil Service Commission dismissed two senior officials over forgery and falsification of official documents, citing breaches of public service rules.
In addition, an education officer was also sacked earlier in September for gross misconduct linked to sexual harassment, underscoring the government’s renewed stance on accountability across public offices.
