The attack left two teachers dead and forced many students into captivity.

Angry youths confronted a state government delegation led by Education Commissioner Abba Wakilbe, rejecting its sympathy visit.

The protesters insisted that the government should focus on rescuing the abducted children instead of making speeches, forcing the delegation to leave under security escort.

Parents have now submitted the names of the missing students, while several families said they have not heard from their children since the attack.

Although troops earlier rescued 10 victims, authorities confirmed that efforts to recover the remaining students are still underway.

In response, the Borno State Government ordered the temporary closure of schools in Dille, Lassa and Chul.

Students writing examinations will be moved to Government Secondary School, Uba, as security agencies continue search operations for the abducted children.
