Dismiss Adeleke’s Drone Claim On Oyetola – APC
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has faulted Governor Ademola Adeleke over his claims linking former governor Adegboyega Oyetola to missing security drones.
The party accused the governor of shifting responsibility instead of focusing on security challenges in the state.
The controversy followed Adeleke’s allegation that five drones purchased under the previous administration could not be accounted for.
His spokesperson had earlier said the government was considering buying new drones to boost security operations across Osun State.
In response, the APC insisted that no such drones were ever purchased during Oyetola’s tenure and challenged the current administration to provide proof of the claim.
The party said the allegation was misleading and aimed at scoring political points.
It also warned against what it described as repeated attempts to blame the former governor, saying the state government should take full responsibility for security matters.
The APC added that the public should hold the Adeleke administration accountable for any lapses in security across the state.
