“You’re grumpy jerk and a political nobody”; Akpabio fires back at Hilliard Etta

The National Vice Chairman (South-South) of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ntufam Hilliard Etta has decried what he termed as “impunity” by the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godswill Akpabio in constituting an “illegal” Interim management Committee (IMC) to run the NDDC despite the nomination, screening and confirmation of members of the new Board of the Commission by the Senate.
Ntufam Etta bared his mind in an exclusive interview with Punch Newspapers monitored online.

He said it was unacceptable that the Honourable Minister would be working at cross purposes with President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to the Niger Delta and said the much touted forensic audit proposed by the Minister was suspect.
In a swift reaction, Senator Akpabio said he was not surprised that “grumpy jerks” and “political nobodies” like Ntufam Etta should remain in office when they had nothing to offer the Party.
Akpabio spoke through his close Aide Mr. Clement Ikpat. In his reply on WhatsApp group, Ikpat lambast the National Vice Chairman for engaging in what he termed “anti-party rhetoric”.

Speaking further, Mr. Akpabio maintained that he had violated no law in setting up the Interim Management Committee.
