Party leaders, newly elected ward and local government executives, as well as youth and women groups, are expected to attend the ceremony.

According to a statement by the acting state secretary of the party, Alfreder Ebibofayei Ato, the commissioning will mark the beginning of a new phase for the party in the state.

She added that the inauguration and swearing in of all elected ward, local government and state executive members will follow immediately after the event.

The move comes after the dissolution of the Solomon Agwana led State Working Committee in April 2025, which led to the abandonment of the party’s former secretariat along Isaac Boro Expressway in Yenagoa.

Turnah described the successful congresses as proof that the party remains strong in Bayelsa and expressed confidence that the PDP will present credible candidates in the 2027 general elections.
