Investigations by police teams and technical experts later confirmed that the incident was accidental and resulted from an inferno caused by the faulty gas cylinders, ruling out any form of bomb, attack or external interference.
The police said no deaths or injuries were recorded, adding that the hospital environment was secured immediately to prevent further danger and ensure public safety.
Residents and the media were urged to ignore false reports and rely only on official updates, as the command assured that the situation was fully under control and posed no security threat.
