The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will hold his end-of-year media chat on Monday, December 29, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The engagement will focus on his activities as FCT minister, including major infrastructure works, security efforts, and urban renewal projects carried out in Abuja under the Tinubu administration.
The session is expected to bring together journalists and media stakeholders who will interact with the former Rivers State governor on his performance and policy direction in the nation’s capital.
The media chat will take place days after Christmas and is part of Wike’s routine public engagement at the close of the year.
According to his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the event is designed to give Nigerians a clear picture of progress made so far in the FCT.
Wike has maintained a tradition of using media chats to speak directly to the public, address key national issues, and explain government actions in a straightforward manner.
