The Edo North lawmaker made the remark during an interview aired on Sunday.
Speaking on Seun Okinbaloye’s podcast, Oshiomhole suggested that his relationship with the Senate President has been marked by differences.
He argued that Akpabio would rather see him excluded from the Red Chamber than continue serving as a senator.
The former Edo State governor did not provide details of any specific disagreement but maintained that he believes the Senate President holds a position against him.
His comments have added to ongoing discussions about internal dynamics within the upper legislative chamber.
The remarks come amid growing political debates and alignments ahead of the 2027 elections, with key political figures increasingly speaking out on issues within their parties and government institutions.
