Her death was confirmed on a memorial page created in her honour on Saturday, October 31, 2026. However, details surrounding her death were not immediately available.
Tributes have since begun pouring in on social media from people who knew her and those who worshipped under her ministry.

Pastor Bolaji John served as a campus pastor at the church’s Lekki branch.
A member of HICC, who uses the X handle @nanya_sapphire, shared an account of attending Sunday’s service following the news of her death. The member also commented on the appearance of the church’s Senior Pastor, Bolaji Idowu, who delivered the sermon.
According to the post, Idowu appeared to have a swollen and darkened face, red eyes and a leaner appearance. The church member initially assumed that he was observing his regular 40-day prayer and fasting period or spending time in fellowship with God.
The member also said the pastor’s message, which focused on prophecy and judging God faithful, felt different from his usual sermons.
Reflecting on her personal experience with Pastor Bolaji John, the member described her as a pastor whose way of explaining scriptures was particularly enjoyable and concluded by saying that the memory of the righteous is blessed.
