Fire Outbreak Disrupts NDDC Screening At Senate

A brief fire outbreak occurred on Wednesday at the Senate wing of the National Assembly during the screening of a nominee for the Niger Delta Development Commission Governing Board, causing a short disruption before it was quickly contained.

The incident happened inside Senate Hearing Room 107 while lawmakers were screening Dr Zainab Marwa for the North-East position on the NDDC board.
