All is set for the conferment of a Honorary Doctor of Philosophy of Science Degree in Social and Human Development (Ph.D Honoris Causa) on the wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel by the University of Uyo.

The award according to the University, “is in recognition of Her Excellency’s substantial contributions to improvements in human social conditions, development of hidden talents with capacity building among the youth and feats of philanthropy which have touched many lives.”
