Redeemed Christian Church of God has said it is waiting for the outcome of an investigation into allegations against a pastor accused of attempted rape and sexual misconduct in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

The controversy began after a female student publicly confronted the pastor during a church service, accusing him of sexual coercion and unwanted advances.

The church’s Publicity Secretary, Lanre Oyegbola, said RCCG would wait for the school’s investigation before deciding on further action.
He added that the church had not yet taken disciplinary steps because the allegations were still under investigation.
