Prominent political leaders, business figures, and entertainers will be honoured at this year’s Democracy Heroes Award Africa, scheduled for October 16 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

The award, organised by the Face of Democracy Nigeria Projects, will celebrate individuals who have played key roles in advancing democratic governance and fostering development across Africa.

Among the awardees are Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Sani Musa, and former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. The President of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko, and governors from Borno, Cross River, Ondo, Oyo, Katsina, Delta, Ebonyi, Kaduna, and Kebbi states are also on the list.
