Bandits Kill NSCDC Officer, Abducts Daughter

A Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officer identified as Mr Ayo has been killed, while his daughter was abducted during a bandit attack on Odo-Ere community in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.

He was rushed to a medical facility after being injured but later died from gunshot wounds, according to local sources familiar with the attack.
The attackers also seized his first daughter before escaping, leaving the community in fear as residents called for stronger security presence to prevent further violence.
