He noted that efforts are ongoing to make Abuja comparable to other major capitals around the world, adding that conditions in the city have improved and will continue to get better.

The event, held at the European Union Complex, was attended by Ireland’s Minister of Public Expenditure, Jack Chamber, and Ambassador Peter Ryan, alongside other diplomats.

The minister urged embassies to develop lands allocated to them in the FCT, warning that undeveloped plots risk being encroached upon by land grabbers.

He added that authorities have taken steps to reclaim such lands and return them to rightful owners.

He further hinted at a possible visit to Ireland, noting his relationship with Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to the country.
