He explained that the campaign would begin in early April and run for about two and a half months.

According to him, the party has no intention of organising large rallies or hiring crowds but will instead meet voters directly and present its plans for the state.

Bejide also accused supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress of removing and damaging ADC campaign posters in parts of the state.

He said the party would raise the issue with traditional leaders, adding that political spaces and campaign materials should be open to all parties.

The ADC candidate expressed confidence that voters would support his party because of dissatisfaction with the current administration.

He urged political actors to maintain peace throughout the election period, saying campaigns should focus on policies that can improve the lives of Ekiti residents.
