The incident happened around the Makun axis, near the Sinoma area before Danco, a busy stretch of the highway known for heavy traffic and frequent breakdowns.
Police authorities confirmed that Joshua was travelling in a Lexus SUV when the vehicle collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still being examined.
The impact left Joshua and other occupants injured, while two people were reported dead at the scene before emergency responders arrived.
