Ogba, who also leads the Movement for National Transformation, said political disagreements were normal but should not derail governance. He urged the President to concentrate on nation-building and ensure that reforms aimed at reviving the economy are sustained.

He argued that criticisms directed at Tinubu were more about personal frustrations than genuine concerns about Nigeria’s future. According to him, Nigerians are more interested in seeing economic stability and unity than in political squabbles.

Referencing past political memoirs, Ogba stressed that loyalty and consistency were essential in public service. He suggested that Nigerians should assess leaders based on the results of their tenure rather than personal clashes.

Ogba also pointed out that El-Rufai’s record in Kaduna still divides opinion, showing that leaders are ultimately judged by their legacies. He maintained that Tinubu’s current reforms were bold steps that could transform the country if allowed to continue without needless distractions.

He expressed confidence that the public would support the President as long as progress in the economy remained visible. According to him, the priority should be to consolidate ongoing reforms and push forward with policies that promote growth and stability.
