The Federal Ministry of Transportation said the gathering will bring together stakeholders from across Africa and beyond to discuss the future of railway development on the continent.

Shettima is expected to deliver the keynote address and officially flag off the event, while Rowland Ocholi Ataguba, managing director of Bethlehem Rail, will present the lead paper.
Transport Minister Said Ahmed Alkali described the initiative as part of government’s commitment to create a transformative platform that will drive modern transport systems in Nigeria and the wider region.
