The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced September 10, 2026, as the deadline for registration for its November/December 2026 certificate examinations.
The board disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday by its Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah, in Benin, Edo State.
According to Olisah, registration for the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations began on August 10.
Candidates who have not completed their registration are expected to do so on or before September 10.
However, the registration period for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination will remain open until September 30.
NABTEB said candidates and other stakeholders should complete their registration within the specified periods to avoid missing the examinations.
The board placed the registration fee for the NBC and NTC examinations at N22,500, while candidates registering for the ANBC and ANTC examinations are required to pay N25,500.
The registration fee for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination is N6,000.
Olisah urged prospective candidates, schools, technical and vocational institutions, apprenticeship centres and other stakeholders to follow the approved registration procedures.
He also advised candidates to obtain registration details through NABTEB’s authorised channels to avoid mistakes, delays and other complications.
The board said the examinations form part of its responsibility to assess and certify skills acquired through business and technical education.
NABTEB added that the examinations would support the development of skilled manpower and encourage technical and vocational education and training as a means of promoting employment, economic empowerment and self-reliance.
