The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos has praised its clean sweep in the just-concluded local government elections, promising that elected officials will fulfill their campaign pledges.

Speaking on Wednesday at the presentation of certificates of return to winners, APC state chairman Cornelius Ojelabi said the party worked hard for the victory and would not take the people’s trust for granted.

Ojelabi thanked residents for backing the party and promised that the new leaders would deliver. He said the party has set up mechanisms to monitor the performance of its elected officials across the state.
He also praised LASIEC for conducting what he called a peaceful and credible election.
