CUPP Moves Against Spokesperson Ikenga Ugochinyere, Says “He Has Turned The Organization To His Personal Property”
The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) may have kicked out its Spokesperson, Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, accusing him of hijacking the coalition “for his own personal and selfish goals.”

In a communique issued after its virtual meeting of yesterday, the CUPP said it will reposition and rebrand the “for the collective good of all Nigerians and the need to form a formidable force ahead of the 2023 elections.”

The CUPP disclosed in the communique signed by the Secretary, Steering Committee, Chief Peter Ameh, that it will set up a committee to draw a roadmap towards the 2023 elections.
It apologized to its members and stakeholders for allowing Ikenga to hijack the coalition for his own personal and selfish goals.

The communique read; “In line with its resolve to reposition and rebrand the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) for the collective good of all Nigerians and the need to form a formidable force ahead of the 2023 elections, the coalition held an extra-ordinary virtual General Assembly meeting on Monday, July 27, 2020.

“The committee will be co-chaired by Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir and Dr. Emeka Okengwu has Akinloye Oyeniyi as secretary. Other members include Dr. Jalil Tafawa Balewa, Comrade Usman Ikeleji Abdullahi, Comrade Alistar Soyede, and Hon. Abayomi Runsewe.
