A former All Progressives Congress (APC) Sokoto State legislator, Alhaji Bature Dan Muhammadu Lili along with 10,000 members of the party members have dumped the party for People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

This development is coming two days before the scheduled House of Assembly election in the state in which Lili was seeking to retain his seat under the APC but has also withdrawn his candidacy in rerun.
