The immediate past Deputy Governor of Ekiti state, Prof. Kolapo Olusola has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State will come out stronger after the congresses, charging the leadership of Ekiti Grassroots Movement (EGM) to remain committed to the gospel of Eleka, adding that genuine reconciliation was sacrosanct to making head-way in the forthcoming congress and 2022 Guber election respectively.

Addressing members of EGM while hosting them in Ikere, yesterday, Eleka tasked them on peaceful coexistence among themselves.
He expressed appreciation to the EGM for its efforts towards what he called “Eleka’s agenda in the past, present and future.”
Prof Olusola said; “EGM is an ideological group which comprises promising youths of Ekiti with superb educational backgrounds and uprightness.”
Speaking on the state of PDP in Ekiti State, he said the party would come out stronger after the congress.
“Gov. Fayose and Senator Abiodun Olujimi are leaders of the party. Olujimi is the mother of the party while, Fayose the father of the party”
“Don’t join others to insult any of the leaders. They will resolve very soon. Fayose is my boss and everyone seen around me should be committed to his course.

Encouraging members of EGM to participate fully in the coming congress, Olusola said he would support any member who showed interest.
“Go and contest for positions in your different wards and local governments. Be rest assured of my support,” he said.
Commenting on the chairmanship aspirants of the party, he said EGM should examine the credibility, integrity and capability of different aspirants who were vying for the position.
Party members are encouraged to go for men of impeccable and stable character, he said
