Hall, who was born in Nigeria on October 10, 1980, was convicted of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud linked to a romance scam involving several victims.

According to the FBI, she was charged in April 2024 over allegations that she helped launder money obtained from victims through the scam. She was arrested in Georgia and later released on bond before pleading guilty to the offences.

In January 2026, Hall was sentenced to 96 months in federal prison. However, she failed to report to the designated correctional facility in March to begin serving her sentence, leading to further legal action by US authorities.

The FBI said the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans issued a federal arrest warrant on March 31, 2026, following a charge relating to her bond violation.

Hall was subsequently charged through a criminal complaint on April 14, 2026, with failing to appear to serve her sentence. She was also indicted on the same charge on October 23, 2026.

The agency said she is also known by the names Emuobosan E. Hall, Emuobosan Emanuella Erih and the alias Mobo.

According to the FBI, Hall has connections to Warri and Oleh in Delta State, as well as Abuja. She is also reported to have links to London, Gloucester and Croydon in England, and Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.

Her wanted notice describes her as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 87 kilogrammes, with black hair and brown eyes. She speaks English and some Yoruba.

The FBI is offering up to $5,000, approximately ₦6.73 million at the exchange rate of about ₦1,346.22 to the dollar on October 30, 2026, for information that leads to her arrest.

The agency has urged anyone with information about Hall’s whereabouts to contact the nearest FBI office or the United States Embassy or Consulate.
