The Association of Resident Doctors at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, has called on Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to intervene in the payment of outstanding entitlements owed to healthcare workers.

The doctors urged the state government to ensure the immediate release of the Medical Residency Training Fund, describing it as essential to the training and professional development of resident doctors.

They also requested the payment of unpaid minimum wage arrears owed to resident doctors and other health workers across the state, saying the delay has continued to affect staff welfare.


The association appealed for swift action from the government, expressing hope that resolving the issues would improve morale and strengthen healthcare service delivery in Oyo State.
