According to the statement, Tinubu will begin his visit in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, where he will commission several projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration before attending a political rally.

In preparation for the presidential visit, Governor Eno has declared Friday a work-free day to enable residents to participate in the reception organised for Tinubu.

Among the projects scheduled for inauguration are the new International Terminal Building, International Airport Hospital and Ibom Aviation Village, all located at the Victor Attah International Airport.

The president will also commission the Airport-Okopedi Road, which connects communities in Nsit Atai and Okobo Local Government Areas, as well as Ring Road 3, linking Idoro Road to Ikot Ekpene Road through Uyo and Ibiono Ibom.

Other projects listed for inauguration include the AKWA-GIS Office Complex, the Command and Control Centre and the ARISE Palm Resort.

Onanuga said Tinubu would depart Akwa Ibom for Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday to participate in the APC rally.

He described the event as the president’s third political rally since the commencement of his re-election campaign in Kaduna last month.

The presidential aide added that the visits would also provide an opportunity for Tinubu to interact with political stakeholders, party members and supporters in both states.
