The Ekiti State APC campaign council has said a major rally planned for Tuesday will show strong public backing for Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the June 20 governorship election.

The event is expected to draw top party leaders and supporters from across Nigeria.

The gathering will take place at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion along New Iyin Road.
Campaign spokesman Taiwo Olatunbosun said the rally marks the peak of weeks of statewide mobilisation across all local government areas.
He noted that the event reflects wide support for Oyebanji and his deputy, Monisade Afuye, who are seeking re-election on the APC platform.
He added that the turnout of top party figures shows confidence in the governor’s performance in areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and security.
The campaign council also assured that security and logistics arrangements have been made for a peaceful event.
