Obasanjo Meets Obi-Kwankwaso Movement Leaders

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has met with leaders of the Obi-Kwankwaso (OK) Movement in a discussion aimed at promoting national unity and building a people-focused political direction ahead of future elections.

The meeting was confirmed on Saturday by a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Ladipo Johnson.
Johnson said the engagement focused on strengthening the movement’s goals and building a more united and progressive Nigeria.
He noted that the former president shared experiences from his time in office, offering guidance that could support the group’s long-term political vision.
The movement described the meeting as productive, saying Obasanjo’s input would help deepen its commitment to national development and citizen-focused policies.
It added that the exchange reinforced its drive to mobilise support across the country.
The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement said it remains committed to unity, development and wider political participation.
The meeting is part of ongoing consultations among political actors ahead of future electoral contests in Nigeria.
