Ex Minister’s Rescue Sparks Hope for More Releases – Keyamo
The Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo has reacted to the rescue of the sister of former Minister Adebayo Adelabu and her twin sons, expressing optimism that other abducted victims across the country will also regain freedom soon.
He spoke following the police operation that led to their release in Oyo State.
Keyamo praised the efforts of security agencies involved in the operation, noting that coordinated intelligence and swift action made the rescue possible.
The victims were freed after a gun battle in which suspected kidnappers were killed and weapons recovered.
He described the development as a positive sign in the fight against kidnapping, saying it reflects ongoing efforts by authorities to track criminal networks and rescue captives.
The minister added that similar operations are already underway in other parts of the country.
He expressed hope that families still waiting for missing loved ones will soon receive good news, stressing that security agencies remain active in ongoing rescue missions.
