Delta APC Opens Appeal Window For Primaries
The All Progressives Congress National Assembly Primaries Appeal Committee in Delta State has called on aggrieved aspirants to submit complaints over the House of Representatives primaries held across the state on Saturday.
The committee said the process is part of efforts to address concerns from the exercise.
The committee explained that the appeal system is designed to strengthen internal democracy and ensure fairness, transparency and order within the party.
It added that the direct primaries produced candidates for all ten federal constituencies in Delta State.
Speaking in Asaba, committee chairman Chukwuemeka Ujam said the panel remains committed to handling all petitions without bias.
He noted that complaints would be reviewed in line with the party’s constitution and guidelines.
The committee also urged members to avoid tension and use peaceful channels to raise concerns.
It assured that every appeal will be treated fairly as part of efforts to maintain unity ahead of the 2027 elections.
