He made the remark on Monday during an inspection of ongoing projects in Abuja linked to activities marking President Bola Tinubu’s third year in office.

The former Rivers governor explained that political actors within the coalition would study the political situation across the state before taking major decisions.

He also dismissed reports linking him to the screening of governorship aspirants by the All Progressives Congress in Rivers, insisting he is not a member of the party and has no involvement in its internal affairs.

Wike also expressed satisfaction with the pace of infrastructure work across the Federal Capital Territory.

He said contractors handling major road projects had assured the administration that pending installations, including streetlights, would be completed before the end of May ahead of planned project inaugurations.

The minister noted that projects around Dutse-Alhaji, Kubwa and other parts of Abuja were progressing well, adding that the developments reflect the Tinubu administration’s push for infrastructure renewal.

He also addressed concerns over tax enforcement by officials of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, saying residents must embrace tax payment while authorities maintain proper collection methods.
