The Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party has accepted the judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria delivered on April 30, 2026.

Following the judgment, the party recognised the leadership of Abdulrahman Mohammed as national chairman and Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu as national secretary.
The BoT said the party will continue to operate under its valid structures.
The board also urged unity within the party and directed the formation of a reconciliation committee to address grievances.
It maintained that the PDP remains stable and focused ahead of future elections.
