Ebonyi Governor Visits Slain Monarch’s Family
Governor Francis Nwifuru has led members of the State Executive Council on a condolence visit to the family of a late traditional ruler, Francis Igwe, who was killed after being abducted.
The visit took place in Ebonyi State as the governor expressed sympathy to the bereaved family and the affected community over the tragic incident.
He assured residents that the state government would continue working with security agencies to address insecurity and protect lives.
The monarch was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen before he was later killed, an incident that has sparked concern among residents and traditional institutions in the area.
Governor Nwifuru described the development as painful and urged security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure those responsible are apprehended and brought to justice.
