Bwala Speaks On Tinubu Bullion Van
Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has addressed the long-standing controversy surrounding the bullion vans seen at the president’s residence during the 2019 elections.
Speaking during a media discussion, Bwala insisted that the vehicles did not carry cash.
According to him, the popular claim that money was moved in and out of Tinubu’s home during the election period is untrue.
He explained that the speculation grew rapidly on social media at the time, leading many people to assume that the vans were transporting money to influence the election.
Bwala maintained that such assumptions were incorrect and not supported by any evidence.
The issue first attracted public attention during the 2019 presidential election when bullion vans were spotted entering Tinubu’s residence in Lagos, sparking widespread debate about what the vehicles were carrying.
