Wike said a firm political decision has already been taken within his camp concerning the next election cycle and President Bola Tinubu’s interests in the state.
He warned that supporting Fubara again would amount to repeating a costly error that could end his political relevance and damage his influence in Rivers politics.

According to him, the situation is no longer open to debate, as key actors have already aligned behind a clear direction ahead of the next governorship race.
The remarks deepen the ongoing rift between Wike and Fubara and signal a tough political battle in Rivers State as camps begin early positioning for the next election.
