The exercise is aimed at strengthening the APC’s structure, building a reliable membership database, and preparing the party for future congresses and elections through the use of technology.
The flag-off took place at the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service Hall, where party leaders, government officials, and selected trainees gathered for the start of the training phase of the registration process.

Governor Aiyedatiwa said the initiative reflects President Bola Tinubu’s long-standing push for digital systems in party management, adding that proper records would help the party plan better and treat all members fairly.
He explained that the e-registration would capture both old and new members under one system, remove fake entries, and improve internal democracy, urging party officials to mobilise members through persuasion rather than pressure.
The registration exercise is expected to run until January 31, with trained officials drawn from wards and local governments tasked with extending the process across the state to ensure full participation.
