Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has denied reports claiming he gave the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum to release the detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
In a statement by his media consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo described the viral report as fake news orchestrated by his enemies to tarnish his reputation.
According to the statement, Tompolo has no involvement in any matter concerning Nnamdi Kanu and never made such a demand. It said those behind the false publication were individuals unhappy with his ongoing campaign against illegal crude oil operations in the Niger Delta.
“These people have failed and will continue to fail because he will not relent in his efforts to eradicate illegal oil activities in the region,” the statement read.
Tompolo also reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration and its renewed hope agenda. He assured the Federal Government of his continued cooperation and commitment to national stability.
He further restated his endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term, urging the public to disregard the false publication entirely.
