At a rally in Umunze, Orumba South Local Government Area, Soludo had promised cash rewards to wards that deliver victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He pledged N1 million for each winning ward, and additional prizes of N5 million, N2 million, and N1 million for the top three performing wards.

Reacting, ADC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said Soludo’s comments showed desperation and a loss of public trust. He accused the governor of violating Sections 121 and 127 of the Electoral Act, which prohibit voter inducement.

Abdullahi urged INEC not to ignore the development, warning that such actions could undermine the integrity of the upcoming election.
