Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has congratulated two lawyers from the state, Aminu Gadanya and Abdulkarim Maude, on their elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The investiture was held on Monday at the Supreme Court in Abuja.
The governor’s message was delivered at the event by his Special Adviser on Justice and Constitutional Matters, Aminu Hussain, who represented him. He described the recognition as proof of Kano’s growing impact in the legal profession.
Yusuf said his administration remains committed to nurturing legal talent and producing more accomplished lawyers in the years ahead. He pointed to the establishment of the Faculty of Law at North-West University, Kano, as part of efforts to strengthen legal education in the state.
The governor also pledged continued support for young lawyers, assuring them of opportunities to reach the peak of their careers while contributing to the progress and pride of Kano.
