ADC Denies Claims Of Pushing Northern Agenda

The African Democratic Congress has dismissed suggestions that it is pursuing a northern political agenda.

Party spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi, speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, described the allegation as baseless and called out former ADC presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu, who had accused the party of working for northern interests.

Abdullahi said the ADC was never founded to serve any sectional or religious bloc. According to him, the party belongs to neither the North nor the South, neither Muslims nor Christians, and is open to all generations.

He added that the ADC was deliberately structured to focus on building the kind of future Nigeria needs, rather than promoting regional or religious politics.
