State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Lawal Pedro, hailed the donation as a major boost, noting that two of the buses will be used to transport suspects to and from court, while another two will serve the Special Taskforce on Human Trafficking. The rest will support legal teams operating across the state.

“This gesture will improve the efficiency of legal officers, fast-track court processes, and enhance justice delivery in Lagos,” Pedro said.

Executive Secretary of LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, said the initiative was the first direct request from the governor to aid the ministry, describing it as a clear sign of Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to institutional growth and inter-agency support.

Controller of Corrections, Lagos State Command, George Daramola, also commended the move, saying the buses would ensure safer and quicker transportation of inmates.

Lagos Solicitor-General Hameed Oyenuga thanked the governor and reaffirmed the ministry’s resolve to strengthen justice delivery, especially in underserved areas of the state.
