For the All Progressives Congress, (APC) chairmanship candidate in Apapa Local Government Area of Lagos State, Kevin Lucciano, also known as Gabriel Oluwaseun, this is not the best of time.

He is said to be running helter skelter since he was imposed by the state Caretaker committee chairman, Tunde Balogun.

Sources confided in WazobiaReporters that Lucciano has gone into hiding because of plethoras of petitions against him over questionable certificates and identify theft.

Lucciano who is of Lebanese father and Edo born mother is alleged to have forged the NECO certificate he submitted. He has also adopted Gabriel Oluwaseun to perfect the identity theft.

The Command High School, Araromi Estate he claimed to have obtained his NECO results from in Lagos in 2008 does not exist. The school is located in Araromi-Obu in Ondo state.

The candidate number 80178273JC was confirmed as fake after a search via NECO scratch card. Also, the school in question does not have a centre for NECO external examination, and did not conduct NECO external examination in 2008 as claimed by Lucciano.

Lucciano was 40 years going by the 1968 date of birth he submitted to LASIEC when he sat for NECO. At 40, he was only expected to write GCE external examination and not NECO.

Investigation revealed that Balogun who has now been nicknamed ‘BalooDollar’ because of how he was alleged to have turned the local government primary election into money making venture is also being alleged to have collected huge amount of money from the Chagourys to hand over the chairmanship ticket to Lucciano who’s their kith and Kin.

Lucciano is also being accused of internet fraud and other unscrupulous practices abroad thereby making his candidacy a hard sell for the ruling party.

In his CV he claimed to have studied law from Ambrose Alli University and left for Europe to further studies at Wexford University, majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy. It’s shocking that today, he’s not willing to profess any of these academic qualifications that he has proudly claimed in the past.

Whereas on page 2 of the CV submitted by Gabriel Oluwaseun Kevin claimed to have worked as Site Engineer with RAYCON Construction Nigeria Limited. How did a man who does not possess a qualification in Civil Engineering claimed to have been employed as a site Engineer anywhere? There are many unanswered questions about Lucciano‘s CV to LASIEC.

The contradiction inherent in Lucciano’s qualification and identity theft is causing ripples in the party.

The party members are disturbed that the opposition People’s Democratic Party may be the beneficiary unless something is done urgently to rectify the ugly situation.
