The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade, has rejected the N100 million which the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, donated to him for the renovation of his palace which was burnt down last week by irate youths who protested police killing of one of the #EndSARS protesters, Jimoh Isiaq.

The monarch however accepted only N10 million, which the governor earlier sent to him as part of the N100 million meant for the palace renovation.

In a letter which the Soun of Ogbomoso personally wrote to Governor Makinde, the monarch rejected the remaining N90 million, urging the governor to use the money to develop youths in his domain.
