Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel has sent a message of condolence to the family of Obong Ufot Ekatte, a one-time Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and pioneer Minister of the Ministry of Niger-Delta Affairs.

In a statement on Thursday, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Emmanuel celebrated the contributions to the development of Akwa Ibom State in particular and Nigeria in general of the departed Elder Statesman.
