Full List: ADC Unveils 28 Governorship Candidates for 2027 Election

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released the names of its governorship and deputy governorship candidates for the 2027 general election in 28 states across Nigeria.

The party announced the candidates on Friday as part of preparations for the 2027 elections, presenting them as its choices to contest the governorship seats in the affected states.

Among the notable names on the list are Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in Lagos, Isa Mohammed Ashiru in Kaduna, Great Ogboru in Delta, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita in Katsina and former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, in Kebbi.

The party has also selected candidates to contest in several northern and southern states, including Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.

The announcement comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 elections and work to establish structures across the country.
