He said the party structures under his control in Osun State would work for the APC candidate and urged Accord members at various levels to vote for him on August 15.

The development comes after Imumolen had earlier expressed doubts about Governor Ademola Adeleke’s chances of winning the election.

He had said he did not believe Adeleke had enough political strength to secure victory at the polls.

Imumolen also declared his support for President Bola Tinubu, describing the President as a leader with the resilience and courage needed to govern the country.

According to him, Tinubu has demonstrated the ability to manage Nigeria’s political and economic difficulties without allowing ethnic or religious considerations to influence his decisions.

The endorsement adds to the political developments surrounding the Osun election, with parties and political figures making last-minute moves as candidates intensify efforts to secure votes ahead of Saturday’s poll.
