FAAN stated that emergency personnel were actively working at the scene to bring the situation under control while ensuring the safety of airport users and facilities.

The authority also disclosed that no casualties or loss of life had been recorded as a result of the incident.

Although the cause of the fire was not immediately known, airport emergency responders continued their operations as authorities monitored the situation.
